Fares

A single adult crossing costs €6.85. Children under sixteen travel for half fare, and children under five travel free. Bicycles travel for €1.50 each way.

Regular passengers can buy a Heron Pass, a card good for ten crossings, which costs €52.00. A Heron Pass does not expire and may be shared within a household.

Fares are paid on board to the deckhand. The Guild does not sell tickets online, and no agent is authorised to sell Heron Passes on its behalf.

The post travels free under the Guild's first charter, as do lifeboat crews answering a call and anyone accompanying a person to the cottage hospital at Harrowmede.
