Wenmarrow Ferry Guild
The Wenmarrow Ferry Guild runs the passenger ferries across Lake Wenmarrow, between Gullspit Quay on the western shore and Harrowmede Landing on the eastern shore, with a request stop at the Lantern Isle jetty in the middle of the lake.
The Guild is a mutual society owned by its pilots and deckhands. It keeps four vessels, sails every day of the year except during ice, and carries walkers, cyclists, schoolchildren and the post.
